About 4 years ago, I had my first BIG success story with the Flat Belly After 50 program.
It was a pastor from Missouri, named Mark, that was pushing 330 lbs when he started to use my program.
Mark had just lost his brother to a devastating heart attack at the age of 48.
And after suffering through that, Mark knew he had to make a change or he would be next.
So Mark purchased my program, and followed it to the letter.
He was on a mission to not only save his own life, but to also inspire his congregation to live a healthier life.
Mark checked in with me every couple months and updated me on his progress…
“Down 41 lbs after just two months, feeling great”
“Down 65 lbs after five months, I’m still going”
I emailed back and forth with Mark a few times over that year. It was incredibly fulfilling for me to see someone getting those kinds of results with my program.
There were times that I would read Mark’s emails and wind up in tears thinking about how much his life had changed for the better.
After a year on the program, Mark emailed me again to let me know he hit his “target weight”.
“I’ve lost 106 lbs over the past year. I had my struggles along the way, but I stuck to it”
Mark sent me a very long email detailing what it was like to go through a 100+ lbs weight loss.
And one of the things he said in that email really stuck out to me…
He said “It took me a while to realize this, but I came up with a simple rule that works wonders for me…if God didn’t create it, then I don’t eat it”
With all of the misinformation out there when it comes to what to eat/what not to eat, this is a pretty good “Golden Rule” to follow.
Foods that need a whole bunch of processing and additional ingredients should not be going into our body.
The foods that God put on earth for us, are usually the healthiest. Meat, fish, veggies, fruits, eggs, nuts…
That’s a simple tip, but it’s incredibly powerful.
