Sunday Thoughts (one step at a time)

Before I get into today’s email, I wanted to leave you with one more reminder:

Tomorrow is the last day of our special Independence Day stock-up on Patriot Power Reds. This is the first time we’re doing this, and it has been fantastic to see so many people get such a great deal…

I’m talking about 2 FREE canisters, FREE Patriot Power Protein, a really fantastic (and durable) stainless steel shaker cup, and it’s all shipped to your door FREE too.

But tomorrow this deal ends. That’s it, over.

So please… if you don’t want to miss it, take a moment right now to check it out on this special page we set up:

Ok, so now that you’ve gotten that reminder, I wanted to share a story that has me really inspired today.

And not just because it happened back in my home state of Ohio.

A 15 year old boy named Michael woke up one day about 3 years ago and decided enough

It was time to change his life for the better.

Here he was, on the cusp of the prime of his life and he was having trouble even getting around and moving, he was so heavy.

And he’d been heavy for as long as he could remember.

He had very little energy. If he was struggling with energy as a boy, what would it be like when he got older? It was scary to think about…

So he decided that day, then and there, he had to do something.

He’d start slowly cleaning up his diet. (Which was especially challenging, because he worked at a fast food restaurant.)

And he’d dedicate himself to moving more. But when you’re this unaccustomed to exercise, how do you even begin?

Then, it dawned on him. He’d walk to school. And back. Every single day.

Once he’d decided, he began the next day. And for the entirety of his sophomore to senior years, he walked both ways without fail. About an hour total.

No matter what the weather. Growing up in Ohio, I know it can get awfully dicey at times. Rain, snow, and pretty steamy too.

But he kept at it, even when folks would see him trudging along in a downpour and offer him a lift. Nope, he thought… I’m on a mission here.

The result: he’s lost 115 lbs. He regained his health and his energy. And he has a newfound confidence that comes not just from his new physique, but from knowing that he can do anything he puts his mind to.

What’s the obstacle that you’re facing? What small steps can you take to help make it a reality?

Do you feel too tired to do it? Do you think a small change won’t add up to much?

I think this kid would prove those things wrong.

I’m so proud of him, and I’ve never even met him.

And I know there are more stories out there…

What’s yours?

God Bless,

Jeff Reagan
