Jeff Reagan’s Sunday Thoughts (start at home edition)

It’s early morning on a Sunday, and we’ve got a big day ahead.

I always look forward to days like this. Our church is organizing a “service day” once the sermons and the congregating are over.

It usually gets a great turnout.

Today we’re going to be doing a community clean-up, but in the past, we’ve done all sorts of things…

Organizing food drives for those facing hard times.

School supplies as classes begin again.

Painting and cleaning a home for an injured vet.

Even taking shelter dogs for a walk around the block.

It’s always great fun and you know what… it feels good.

You know that at Patriot Health Alliance, we make a point of helping those who have sacrificed – and continue to sacrifice – in order to protect the freedoms we hold so dear.

I know from hearing from so many of you, you appreciate it. And I can tell you for sure, these active duty and military vets, they appreciate it too.

Now, I was going to share with you a study I read recently that said that targeted support, help for those close to you in your community, your family and the like… it goes a long way towards not only helping someone else.

But also, helping you feel less anxious or stressful. And more content.

And that’s good for your health.

Of course, you know that already. You don’t need some researchers from the University of Pittsburgh to tell you. Or me.

I know when I lend a hand, it makes me feel good. It gives me purpose. And it helps underscore that we’re all put upon this Earth to make a difference.

With so many people struggling, it’s not handouts they really need or want. It’s a hand up.

Is there someone you can lend a hand to today?

Not because it’s good for your mood, or your brain… but because it’s just… good.

Something to think about as the weekend comes to a close.

God Bless,

Jeff Reagan

    1. My church in Chattanooga has a produce give-away every month. It is for anyone that wants or needs food to simply so up and they will get whatever we have for that day. While it is not geared for vets, there are a lot who come every month. We are planning to expand and have clothing that has been donated and in GOOD SHAPE. It will also be free. You are right. It makes me feel good to see the smiles on their faces and hear their words of appreciation.

    2. You are such a down to Earth kind of a person, thank you so much for all you do and how you extend your hand to help others I know someday I will meet you in heaven! Be well and many blessings to you and your family.
      Jill.

  1. Good Morning, Jeff!

I was wondering what your thoughts are on flu shots. I am a retired teacher. I have not had a flu shot in 20 years and I haven’t had the flu either. Everywhere I go flu shots are being pushed. The other day at the eye dr. I was asked if had gotten a flu shot yet. Your thoughts.

  2. Good morning all🙏🏻
Not sure where else I’d be able to THANK YOU!!! Thank God comes first though🙏🏻👋

It wasn’t usually a “ favorite topic “ among some people to discuss the pain in the body ( part of it where we could have hemorrhoids ). I decided I’d tell you: almost NO PAIN 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 after 7 yeas of suffering and about to do surgery. I’m soooo blessed to discover your guys “ healing drops”. Changed my life. In tears of thankfulness. Ordered 5 bottles ( large size). Praise God , it heals even such a severe condition I USED (!!) to have.

  3. Mr. JEFF, please consider a Animal Project.
ANIMALS, Cats and Dogs, even Goats need our Protection, BUT LET THEM DO THEIR JOB,
if protection us personally or keep Mice and Snakes away, think on this ok, LET THEM DO THEIR JOB, Show your appreciation and respect to them for their Job. You the owner do your Job by feeding and taking care of their Health and Well Being.
Not this nanny panny cuddly stuff, RESPECT and APPRECIATION – they are not a stuffed Thing, they are Souls, like YOU and I.

  4. Hi Jeff. I just wanted to comment that I really enjoy your newsletters, especially your Sunday Thoughts. The tone of them are so very matter-of-fact yet profound. I get the distinct impression you’d be a great neighbor to have – and I am one who dislikes having any neighbors I can see or more than rarely hear.
Thank you for truly embracing and demonstrating the values, virtues and habits of a real Conservative. God Bless you and yours, and I wish you continued success.
    Most sincerely,
    Kimberley Kashuba

  5. I look forward to your Sunday comments and enjoy them but I wanted to chat with you about a problem I am having if I could. First off, I tried to talk with [email protected] Health alliance.com about it and they sent an automated message and say they would get back to me 48 hours. Jeff, it has been 4 days and no word. The problem is this. You all have been helpful about me asking for the Patriot Greens packet for about 5 years and I wanted to say thank you. You know my situation though like others I am on a fixed income and cannot afford the canister ( and even if I could, the autofill would be a disaster for me since it is just me and I could not maintain the regular deliveries every month.) I contact by phone recently and they said it would be the last shipments of packets I got were to be my last one because it is only a sample and I have violated my use of the greens. In fact, the debit card wouldn’t be taken saying “it was a invalid card”. What to do. Please advise sir. Thank you.
