Today’s going to be just a quick note. I have a fair amount of cooking to do, and I’m sure you’re probably the same…
I know I come at you all the time with health “advice” that can sometimes sound like “nag, nag, nag…”
Get your exercise. Cut out all that sugar. Eat your veggies!
Well today I’m going to tell you something that would make most health folks cringe:
Eat whatever you want today.
If you want a second helping of stuffing, or turkey, or sweet potatoes… just enjoy it.
Pumpkin pie? Go for it.
Spend this time with your family and friends, and do it guilt free.
Experience the joy of being together. Share good food. And take the time to remember all you have to be thankful for.
And tell the people you’re with why you’re thankful for THEM…
A single day of indulgence never packed on the pounds.
Just don’t use today as a kick start for weeks of total abandon.
If you do, you’ll likely get to New Year’s and wonder what the heck happened and why you’re feeling so lousy.
So enjoy this special day. Hug your family. And take stock of your blessings.
